Introduction

In this article, we will learn how to Install Abbey System in Windows PC after Dec 2020.

Install Abbey System in Windows PC

Step 1:

Download the Attached File in this article. Your can file at the end of this article.

Step 2:

Install Firefox Browser.

Double click the "Firefox Setup 70.0.exe" that you download on Step 1 to install Firefox on Windows.

Click "Next" until finish.

Step 3:

Disable Firefox auto update.

Open Firefox browser, type "about:preferences" in the address bar. Then navigate to Firefox Updates, select "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" as picture below.

Step 4:

Install Adobe flash player.

Double click the "install_flash_player32.0.0.263.exe" that you download on Step 1 to install Adobe flash player on Firefox.

** Remember must choose "Never check for updates (not recommended)" before done the installation **

Step 5:

Set Abbey run on startup page in Mozilla Firefox browser.

Open Firefox browser, type "about:preferences#home" in the address bar. Then navigate to New Windows and Tabs, select "Custom URLs..." and paste the Abbey URLs into "Paste a URL..." column as picture below.

Additional Step to disable Firefox update pop up message.

Step 1:

Disable Firefox for update pop up message.

On your PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

Using Windows Search > type " C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" > hit enter.

Step 2:

Create a new folder with folder name "distribution" and Copy & paste file "policies.json" that you download before into this distribution file.
